The message Update to a new software version along with the latest software version is displayed on the television. Select OK to proceed with the Update via Internet process. A New Software Version available message will be prompted. At the Home Screen menu, use the arrow keys on the remote control to select Setup - Software Update and then press the ENTER button. If there is a disc in the player, please remove the disc. Make sure the Blu-ray player is connected to your Internet source using an Ethernet cable or wireless router. Power on the television and make sure it is tuned to the inputs to which the Blu-ray Disc player is connected. Note: The firmware update process usually takes about 15 to 30 minutes, depending on system configuration and network connection. Failure to follow the instructions may interrupt the update process and may cause the Blu-ray Disc player to be unresponsive or to require repair. WARNING!
